ElectricalTeam.ca exists for one kind of business: the licensed electrical contractor who wants more of the right work and the electricians to do it. It is a marketing and business consulting service. We don't do electrical work of any kind, we aren't a staffing agency, and we don't employ or place electricians. We plan, build and run the marketing and recruiting that brings customers and applicants to your shop.

The company behind it

ElectricalTeam.ca is part of the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of companies, a Canadian group headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, serving clients across the country.

  • Sedighi.ca is the growth, marketing and technology consultancy Ali Sedighi runs. Its family of brands takes in Trades.Agency (our direct parent), HVAC.Agency, HVAC.Digital, BusinessConsulting.ca and Conv.ca.
  • SAZ.ca (Strategy & Acceleration Zone) is Ali's Canadian strategy, AI and revenue-acceleration consultancy, where he is Founder & Managing Partner.

Within the group, ElectricalTeam.ca belongs to the Trades.Agency family, which markets trades and home-service businesses. That's where our plans and pricing come from, as set out on the pricing page.

Ali Sedighi, MBA

Ali Sedighi leads ElectricalTeam.ca. His degree is an MBA in Technology Management. He started ONE.ir, a full-service digital marketing agency, in 2007, and has spent the 17+ years since building marketing for other people's businesses. He now lives and works in Vancouver.

Besides SAZ.ca, his ventures include Conv.ca, an agency for conversion-rate optimisation, and MyAutomation.ca. His clients have been in Canada, the USA and Dubai.

Most of his trades work has been in heating and cooling, where he has built 150+ live HVAC websites, including CombiBoiler.ca, GasBoilers.ca and HeatLand. That's why the case studies we show are results from our HVAC work: we would rather show real numbers from a neighbouring trade than invent electrical ones. His profile is on Sedighi.ca.

How we work with electrical contractors

Our way of working comes from one observation: electrical shops are usually limited by two things at once, the right work and the right people. So every engagement starts by asking about both.

  1. We learn your work mix. Which jobs earn the most per crew-hour, which you'd happily stop doing, and which you lose to slow callbacks.
  2. We learn your crew. How many licensed electricians and apprentices, how many more you could supervise, and where past hires came from.
  3. We pick one revenue campaign and, if needed, a recruiting campaign. Not five campaigns at once.
  4. We build with your electricians. Technical pages are reviewed by your people, because they hold the licence and the knowledge.
  5. We report monthly in plain numbers: leads, booked jobs, applicants, hires, cost per result.

A first month, step by step

Owners often ask what actually happens after they sign. For a typical electrical shop, the first month looks like this:

  1. Week 1: a call-handling review (how many calls were missed, when and why), an audit of your website and Google profile, and a conversation with one of your electricians about the work you want more of.
  2. Week 2: fixes to the quickest problems: phone forwarding or text-back, Google profile categories and services, contact details on every page.
  3. Week 3: the first new page, usually for the job type you chose, reviewed by your electrician before it goes live.
  4. Week 4: tracking set up for calls, texts and emails, and, if recruiting is included, a role brief and first job ad.

At the end of the month you get the first report: what we changed, what we measured, and what comes next.

What we won't do

  • Claim to be electricians, or give code, permit or safety advice. Customers and contractors should go to the regulator in their province; our regional pages link to them.
  • Run electrical ads for a business that can't show a valid contractor licence where one is required.
  • Promise rankings, lead counts or hires.
  • Publish invented reviews or results.

Where we work

From Vancouver, we work with electrical contractors in all 10 provinces and three territories. Every region has its own market, climate and regulator, and our areas page explains how campaigns change from coast to coast.

If you'd like to talk, the contact page explains how to reach us by call, text or email and what happens next.

Frequently asked questions

Who owns ElectricalTeam.ca?

It is part of the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of companies, led by Ali Sedighi, MBA. It operates within the Trades.Agency family of trades marketing brands.

Where are you based?

Our head office is in Vancouver, BC. Electrical contractors anywhere in Canada can consult with us in person or by video call, as well as over the phone, by text and by email.

Do you have electricians on staff?

No. We are marketers and business consultants. When a campaign needs technical accuracy, we interview your own electricians and have them review the content before it goes live.

Why focus on electrical contractors?

Electrical shops face a particular squeeze: licensing makes customers careful, new demand from chargers and heat pumps is growing, and licensed electricians are hard to hire. That combination deserves a focused approach.
